Heh.  I crashed my car.  Luckily it's still (mostly) in one peice.  I'll tell you why:  I asked God for a miracle the night before because I needed a shift switched at work, which I got.  But my God goes above and beyond, and decided the time for my car to retire has not yet come.  Thank you Jesus!

God certainly works in weird and wonderful ways.

I have to let you know just how much your 'hug' meant to me!  Seriously!  This past week or so has been....frustrating...spiritually speaking.  I'm being offered the full-time youth directors position, as Ryan is leaving at the start of the year!  I wasn't sure I wanted it...especially since that meant moving and uprooting from where i was comfortable...moving into a ginormous house...and well...it's a sad admittance on my part...but I love the apartment where I am...
So...after talking to the pastor...talking about my concerns (mainly the whole moving thing) and asking what would happen if I didn't take the church's offer...well...I'm going to take the job...and I feel certain it's what God wants for me right now!
Last thursday was just hard.  I went to a concert with a family from the church...had a great time...but during some worship songs with Mercy Me...started getting REALLY homesick...and even thinking God could be telling me to go back home...or I dunno...I just to super confused with what I wanted and what I thought God wanted...
But...after talking to the folks...and some encouraging words from friends...and even a student or two here...I've come to a plateau...and feel comfortable with my future...
for now!

Hope you're well...
Ooh...I may be bringing my youth group up to Luther (to camp) in January for a retreat.  Totally excited about the opportunity!  I hope it works out!

You're happy you crashed your car? Hidden blessings indeed.
